This farm has been designed and made by the engineers of Christiaens Company in February 2007.

The Farm has 9 growing rooms, each with a growing surface area of 629 m². All the controlling system, ventilations and automatic hydrator systems are designed and made by Christiaens Company. This farm will operate in May 2009.

The facility will consists out of 8 Phase I bunkers and 12 Phase II tunnels. The capacity of each tunnel will be 150 tons of Phase I input. The total production will about 1000 tons of Phase II compost per week. Sahar Compost will be the second biggest Phase II compost producer in the Middle East.

All the machineries, Air handling systems and controlling systems are designed and by Christiaens Group.

This Compost yard will operate in November 2009.
